The 360-degree views still take me back to the place in France where my heart and soul felt free. We spent many stays at the Domaine through the 1990s and early 2000s, and it came to feel like our French home away from home in America. I loved seeing the decor changes, and Florence and Michelle are both so talented with decorating and food. I miss the country feel and the people connected to the Domaine. We don't speak French, but got along magnificently with them, even during a 30-day stay. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable, authentic experience in France.

I was there in January, though I can imagine the place looking stunning in summer too. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the building has such a peaceful, almost another-century feel as soon as you walk in. I loved being away from technology and noise. There's no television or radio, and although Wi-Fi is available, I chose not to connect. One small tip: bring a hairdryer if you need one. The electrics all work perfectly despite how they look.

The owners have a special museum that they may let you look around, and it's quite a spectacle. There’s also a lovely pool and grounds on the domain. The Hall is beautiful, and each room shows a lot of creative work. Very nice.

The hostess was attentive and welcoming, and the place is decorated in an incredible way. You can feel the family history throughout. A truly memorable experience.

We left feeling refreshed and already keen to come back. It was a perfect little break on our holiday journey, with a warm, attentive welcome, time to relax by the pool, and a delicious breakfast. They even gave us generous gifts: freshly picked vegetables from the estate's garden and a touching goodbye note with bookmarks. Thank you!
