Bastide Saint Didier

We spent our evenings eating on the porch, and the little outdoor kitchen made that especially nice. This feels like somewhere to settle in, relax, and recharge, rather than just a stop on the way through. Richard and Jasmine have made their home peaceful and full of charm, and the garden is wonderful thanks to Jasmine’s hard work. Each morning brought a fresh, delicious breakfast, including cakes Richard bakes daily. The house is every bit as charming as the hosts. It felt like home while we were in theirs. Five stars.

Breakfast in the garden each morning was a highlight, and the property itself is beautiful. Richard and Jasmine were lovely to us and shared lots of helpful ideas for places to see around Provence. They made our first trip to the region especially memorable. We had a wonderful stay at Bastide Saint Didier and would gladly come back.

We were given plenty of useful details about routes, places to visit, and markets, and the location worked perfectly for day trips around Provence. Bastide Saint-Didier feels like it has its own soul, down to the thoughtful touches throughout. The chambers and the rest of the property were clean and tidy. Jasmine & Richard have made a stunning place that still feels warm and charming, and we felt comfortable and welcome from the moment we arrived. Our time at their beautiful Bastide exceeded what we expected and became a very special memory. If we holiday in this region again, we already know where we’ll stay.

We really didn’t want to leave. The setting is gorgeous and relaxing, with a magical garden and a lovely pool looking out toward Mt Ventoux. Our spacious, comfortable room had views on both sides, and opening the windows brought in a refreshing breeze. The bathroom was great too, with a roomy shower and reliably hot water. Breakfast was delicious and peaceful, and the location made a good base for exploring Provence. The hosts were wonderful.
