Gîte de Saint-Disdier

The mountain scenery is magnificent, and there’s plenty to do. Sylvie also gave us really helpful advice. Her cooking was delicious throughout our stay, and breakfast was incredible. We didn’t get to try the picnic lunch, though it looked delicious. After a day of hiking, the evening soup was a real pleasure, warming us right through. The local drinks at the snack bar were just what we like, and the value for money is unbeatable.

The garden was a lovely place to unwind, and the gîte felt unique and comfortable. Sylvie made us feel welcome and shared helpful hiking tips. Her meals were simple, original, and delicious. Lyon Sport Métropole had a wonderful four days here. Thanks for sharing the vegetable galette recipe, too. We hope to see you again.

We booked ahead for lunch and enjoyed a homemade meal of starter, main, and dessert in the garden, with a magnificent mountain view. Sylvie served us; she’s lovely and clearly passionate about the cottage and its cooking. The 20-euro menu is excellent value, with nothing to complain about. She can also adapt meals for special diets, including vegetarian and gluten-free.
