We had a fabulous stay, with a perfect location and great parking for our large camper van. The wine in the room was amazing. After an evening in Saint Emilion, a soak in the large corner bath was just perfect.

The accommodation, location, and outside courtyard are all nicely appointed. We stayed two nights in Room 2, where an air-conditioning unit made a continuous thump, thump, thump in the background even when turned off. The tea and coffee station wasn’t serviced, and there were no cups or teaspoons. My texts and emails to the manager went unanswered. Our friends in Room 1 had a better experience.

The rugby-themed decor gave Les Chambres d’Ovaline a fun, distinctive feel. It’s right in the center, which made it easy to explore the city, and the accommodation had plenty of space to relax. We absolutely loved our stay, and would highly recommend it for comfort and atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

The room was spacious and had a fridge, kettle, and microwave, which felt like a luxury. It was super clean, with a comfortable bed and a lovely, powerful hot shower. Breakfast served by superhost Jess was delicious and worth the extra £15 euros. We found free parking just down the road, though parking outside the guest house is paid during the day. Thanks, Jess, we’ll come back!

Nath and Jess took such good care of us in their immaculately clean guest house. It’s a perfect spot in St Emilion for wine lovers and foodies, and the breakfast was excellent. Meeting Lady Di was a real treat. We WILL be back.
