The set menu was a sensible amount of beautifully put together, delicious food, which stood out compared with many other Michelin restaurants. The staff were knowledgeable and personable, and lovely to deal with, without being stuffy. In a restored walled town near the cathedral, the restaurant's location suits its caliber. The food itself is creative and sophisticated, and the place is absolutely charming.

The great room was beautiful, with a roaring fireplace, and dinner was excellent. The hotel has plenty of charm, though it's older, and getting in felt a bit sketchy, but it was worth it. Room 2015 is small, though larger rooms are available. The front desk and restaurant manager were both great. I'd definitely return!

The first four courses were the highlight, with lovely presentation and flavor, and the service was exceptional. They explained each dish in detail during our four-star-rated tasting menu. The two main courses, though, were far too salty, and the dessert was so sweet I could barely finish it. For a restaurant with a Michelin rating, that was disappointing.

Dinner was among the best I had in France, and the staff were phenomenal. The hotel itself is charming, but our four-night stay left me exhausted because of the noise in the old house, room 1782. I wouldn't come back, and if you care about getting quiet and sleep, I strongly suggest avoiding that room. There was a loud, repeated dragging sound that caused vibrations through the floor. It woke me early and kept me up late. At first I assumed it was other guests, but it happened so regularly that I wondered if it was pipes or a door being dragged. It seemed like it might be a door staff used often. I told the front desk about it three nights in a row, and also spoke with the Maître d’Hôtel. Nobody investigated or fixed it, and I heard nothing more. I felt my concern wasn't taken seriously, which was really disappointing. Getting proper rest is one of the main reasons to choose a hotel, especially one with a minimum guest age, and I couldn't sleep well at all. The hotel and location are beautiful, but I was honestly relieved to leave. Breakfast was mediocre, though there's a bakery down the road with good coffee and pastries. I value hospitality above all, and all the luxury and great food in the world couldn't make up for my concerns being ignored.

Alexandre was wonderful from our first email onward. He stayed with us through the evening, explaining what each dish was and where it came from. We had reserved the cave downstairs for my daughter's birthday, and the setting felt magical. The restaurant made us a lovely menu with wine pairings, then we went farther down into the cave to see their wine collection. Thanks to all the staff for a great night, and for making our daughter feel so special.
