The staff were very nice, and the location is great. There's also free parking a short walk away. But the room was a huge disappointment. This hotel is small enough that at least half its rooms have no window. The photos show bright rooms with windows, which was misleading. Our room had a tiny skylight at the end of a long, narrow tunnel, but it let in no natural light. If we'd known, we'd have paid $10 more per night to stay elsewhere. We booked far enough ahead to have had other options with windows and good ventilation, but by the time you arrive, everything in Saint-émilion is booked, so even paying double for something a bit better wasn't an option. The room was clean, but the shower, sinks, and toilet door were all in the room, separated by just a thin curtain. There was a portable air conditioner, but it was extremely loud. Breakfast was good and included, though the staff weren't wearing masks. During a pandemic, when we needed to be extra careful to catch our flights home, all this left us with a really negative feeling. Once we saw the room, the strict no-cancellation policy made sense.

Such polite staff, and a place that feels like home right in the middle of St-Emillion!

The bed and pillow were good, and the rooms are very large. The bathroom is en-suite, literally with no door. I missed having air conditioning, and there's no elevator, but otherwise it was fine. It's right in the heart of town. I'm not sure how good the breakfast is, but I'd recommend getting it, since it's impossible to find anywhere else in town. Coffee costs €5. There's also a wine shop on site with well-priced souvenirs.

We only stayed one night during our cycle tour, but got a great night's rest and a warm welcome. They let us store our bikes on the small terrace in the back courtyard. Breakfast was sufficient, and for a town that gets a phenomenal number of tourists, it was good value. The wine bottles we bought arrived at our final destination without any problem. Thank you!

The welcome was very friendly, and breakfast was generous. Our room was pleasant too, with a lovely view of one of the remains of the Great Wall. But at €100 for one night in a triple room, I expected better cleanliness. There were hairs in the bed, dust, and a dirty bathroom floor. Water was leaking under the sink, and the shower sealant was coming loose.
