Mayte made us feel welcome and was always ready to help. We slept comfortably in a spacious room with a very comfortable bed, in a remarkable 500-year-old mansion that’s been renovated beautifully. The village is small and picturesque, tucked at the foot of the mountains, with lovely hiking nearby. Breakfast was tasty, and there was even wifi. We had a lovely stay.

Daniel gave us a lovely welcome in this quaint village. The building is amazing, and the room was huge, clean, nicely decorated, and had a comfortable king-size bed. Breakfast included good local products. It felt almost like luxury accommodation, but at a budget price.

The huge rooms make you feel as if you’ve stepped back to the days of knights. It’s a fortified farmhouse full of Basque Country history and stories of our ancestors. The village isn’t very well restored, but its setting is beautiful. Mother and son were wonderfully welcoming, very accommodating, and full of useful advice. Breakfast, with local products, was superb. A stay we won’t forget, and I highly recommend it.
