Those breakfasts were delicious and gave us a great start each day. After the long trip from the UK, we felt so welcome. Our room was lovely, and Jak and Jacqueline were incredibly hospitable. I’d happily recommend this guesthouse.

The chalet at the back of the garden, with its lake view, is where I’d like to return with my family. I was there for four days on business, and the comfortable rooms and magnificent surroundings made it easy to unwind. The owners were charming and looked after their guests so warmly. Breakfast was very generous, and the owner prepared a lovely evening meal. It was a wonderful experience.

Rain kept us off the terrace, but it made the pond lovely to watch: raindrops rippling the water, with the evening clouds reflected in it. We spent two nights in the room perched above the pond, an unusual and wonderfully romantic place to stay, and the weather didn’t spoil it at all. Each morning, a basket arrived with brunch, more than just breakfast, and no set time to enjoy it. It was full of delicious treats, perfect for eating in the cozy privacy of our beautiful cabin. Our hosts’ warm welcome made the stay even more memorable.
