A fab five-star stay. The room and pool were gorgeous, breakfast was great, and the service was very attentive. You can use the Turkish / Hammam steam room at no extra charge. Would recommend!

We spent five nights here on our honeymoon and loved it. The location, facilities, and staff were all excellent. We also really enjoyed the adjacent restaurant and its rooftop terrace, with dramatic coastal views. St Florent is beautiful, and nearby Patrimonio has some lovely wineries.

Our stay got off to a bad start at a hotel that’s supposed to be lovely and by the sea. Our flight to Corsica was cancelled, completely beyond our control, but the hotel insisted it couldn’t help. We sent numerous emails and called many times. About 95% of those attempts got no reply, and on one call they hung up on us. They wouldn’t make an exception to the non-refundable policy or offer any kind of credit, as other hotels have done for us in similar situations. If they had offered credit, we would have come back for many more nights. Once we were finally rebooked, the hotel still didn’t answer our emails asking them to confirm we hadn’t been marked as a no-show. That was stressful, and we had to get Expedia involved to email the hotel and make clear we’d arrive for only part of the stay and needed the room held. We were stuck in Italy after a 17-hour journey to Europe for a wedding, and the hotel showed little sympathy. By the time we finally arrived, we hoped the stay might make us forget the awful experience beforehand. It didn’t. By Corsican standards, the hotel itself is lovely. We had the deluxe suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed, but it wasn’t outstanding or worth the prices. Housekeeping was hit or miss, and the room was dusty. Despite being a five-star hotel, there was no turndown service at all. Soundproofing wasn’t great either. We were on the ground floor and got woken in the morning by housekeeping vacuuming the floor above us. The hotel uses metal keys and requires guests to leave them at reception when going out. That would be fine if staff knew who guests were, but even though there are only about 20 rooms, several times we had to give our room number in front of other guests to get the key, which felt like a privacy issue. We also had to repeat our name and room number loudly, especially with the night staff, who seemed unfamiliar with non-EU guests. There were other things we could list, but can’t be bothered. The short version: stay here if your plans probably won’t change, like if you’re driving and taking the ferry to Corsica. It’s mostly lovely and a short walk from Saint Florent town, but don’t expect terrific service or flexibility if you face an extremely stressful situation and need to change plans.

A truly beautiful, luxurious hotel, with lovely owners who are welcoming and generous. The location is excellent, within walking distance of town, and the attached restaurant is very cool.
