Domaine A Mortella T2

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the spacious room with pool and sea views and its big covered balcony. There was a table, three chairs and a drying rack out there. The hotel sits on the beachfront and has a nicely sized heated outdoor pool and a lovely garden. Parking is plentiful and free, and there’s charging for electric vehicles too. It’s an easy 20-minute walk to the old town, marina and town centre. A fabulous family-run place, with wonderful owners and staff. Highly recommended.

The previous review from TETIANA is factual. We arrived on October 10, and the room smelled awful, like someone had died there. We complained and posted a Google review. Later that evening, the hotel cancelled my booking on booking.com and labelled us a “no show,” so we wouldn’t be able to leave a review here. Booking.com contacted me to ask whether we were staying there; we confirmed that we were and sent location details and photos as evidence. Everything was fine until the morning of October 11. We barely slept because the smell was so bad and the whole night was unpleasant. At checkout, we said the room smelled even worse, asked why they had lied to booking.com about our stay, and said we would still write a review. The receptionist, about 1.65 metres tall with a little beard, kicked me in the face, shoved me away and nearly broke my phone. I said I’d call the police, then the manager came over, yelled at us and told us to leave. We have photos and videos of what happened and how they spoke to us. They didn’t seem concerned about the police coming. We called booking.com, and the team confirmed the reservation had again been marked as a “no show.” Another strange thing: the staff spoke English perfectly well, but when booking.com called, they denied being able to speak English and asked them to communicate by email. The booking.com team is now opening an investigation. We’ll upload the video to social media and tag this place. Please stay away from this hotel!

We felt welcome at this lovely family-owned hotel, and breakfast was tasty. Our balcony had a sea view, and the pool was clean and inviting. It’s also well placed for the beaches around Saint Florent. We’d happily stay again.

There’s a pool, and the staff are friendly and kind. The rooms are modern and clean, with no carpet, which I loved. The hotel is perfect.
