The place was quiet and clean, and the house has what you need for a pleasant week, but some things could be better. When we arrived, the refrigerator wasn't plugged in, even though it was 40 degrees Celsius and we had meat. There also weren't enough cutlery or cooking utensils for ten of us, including a small colander. The upstairs bedrooms get far too hot to sleep in comfortably during heat waves, and they have neither air conditioning nor fans. There's no Wi-Fi either.

A pleasant cottage for a group, and the owners were very nice.

A good spot for a big family or friends visiting Charente, though it could really use air conditioning...
