The staff made the place feel like home, and sweet Charlie was the best. My husband and I stayed at Hotel Lac Bleu for the Tour de France and loved it. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and comfortable, with nice extras like a kettle and tea and coffee. The dining room was closed for the season, but we really enjoyed the afternoon crepes, and I’m still thinking about breakfast: a full buffet with an egg poacher, pear juice, and homemade jams. It was divine. Our summer visit was perfect, and I hope we can bring the kids back for ski season. I’d happily stay again.

The restaurant was cosy, and dinner was far better than we expected. My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Lac Bleu, thanks especially to the staff, who made us feel welcome and at home. The location was perfect, and our room was clean and comfortable. We’d be very happy to stay here again.

We stopped for one night while bike-packing and hadn’t booked ahead. Olivier, Charly the bulldog, and a very kind woman at reception whose name we didn’t catch gave us a really warm welcome. We could choose a room to suit our preferences and get a better night’s rest and recovery. Breakfast was exceptional, with lovely attention to detail: the best bread, local cheeses, and fromage blanc of our trip. Highly recommend.

We hadn’t booked a stay, just arranged breakfast and dinner inside and stopped for casual drinks on the terrace. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was good. There were some very loud groups, though, and with the crowds it felt a little like we were just another number to be fed.

A pleasant stay on the slopes, with kind and friendly owners and staff, good breakfast, and parking available. I recommend it.
