We stayed for a week in this lovely spot in the hills. The hosts were welcoming and laid-back, and the accommodation was clean and modern. Popular walks and a river are right nearby. One thing to bear in mind in high season is the drive up. The road is narrow and rocky, with only a few passing spots, and there’s a surprising amount of traffic going both ways. Also, tucked back in the hills, there’s no mobile reception or internet. I actually liked being able to disconnect and enjoy the quiet.

We were ready for a few days without screens, and this place was perfect for that. There’s no Wi-Fi or internet, but when you’re surrounded by pollution most of the time, the break is welcome. The view is magnificent, it’s great for families with pets, and the welcome was very warm. Thank you.

The place is spacious and peaceful, right in the middle of a natural park with plenty of hiking trails and a river where you can swim. The beach is only a 15-minute drive away, too. The hosts are very friendly. A fantastic place to unwind!

Virginie greeted us with a smile, and we had two wonderful days at the gîte. The view is exceptional, and several hiking trails begin right there. It’s also just 10 minutes from Argeles-sur-Mer, and off-season you can book even for a single night.
