If you want a peaceful holiday somewhere remote, this is a great fit. It’s still within reach of Saint-François and Grande Anse des Salines beach. The main downside is shopping: there’s no grocery store, just a tiny local shop. Most nearby restaurants are also closed in the evenings.
The setting at La Pointe des Chateaux is nice. I wasn’t keen on the restaurant being open to non-residents. The photos show what I’d call low-class customers, dining bare-chested and smoking at the table, among other things.
For a quiet escape from other tourists, with personal service, good food, and a lovely pool, this is a great place. The location is amazing and the service was fantastic. Highly recommended if you’re after some peace and quiet.
The setting is wonderful and the staff are friendly. There’s a pool, plus lots of buffet meal options, and the food is excellent. Fantastic restaurant.
For us, this was the best place in Guadeloupe. The rooms were nice, the food was good, and the pool was lovely. There’s a nude beach nearby.
