Maison de l'Esplanade

We were lucky to get clear weather, so the view of the Pyrenees was breathtaking. The hotel is beautiful and tastefully decorated, and our room was spacious and impeccably clean. I like a very firm mattress, and the bedding suited me perfectly. I highly recommend it.

Sylvie was so welcoming and helpful that I felt right at home. Breakfast was a treat, with excellent local products. The yogurt and strawberry jam seemed homemade and were especially delicious. I spent one night at Maison Esplanade in Saint-Gaudens and came away with lovely memories. My room was spacious, spotless, air-conditioned, and tastefully decorated. The recently renovated bathroom was just as immaculate, with a comfortable modern shower. The bed was incredibly comfortable, thanks in part to the topper, a small detail that made a real difference to my sleep. The building has a real sense of history. Parts such as the splendid staircase still have their original charm and give the place a unique atmosphere. It's a little place worth discovering if you're passing through Saint-Gaudens, and it's just a stone's throw from the Collegiate Church of Saint-Pierre, which is well worth visiting.

The hostess was incredibly helpful, a 10 out of 10, or even 3 Michelin "macarons." It's an excellent upscale guesthouse for a stop in Occitania, whether you're on your way to Spain or heading to the mountains.

A superb hotel, with a very spacious room and bathroom, and an incredibly kind host. I recommend it 1000%.
