Our friend booked two nights in September for us through Booking.com, which confirmed the reservation. The next day, the host said our arrival time wouldn’t work, and the host had cancelled the booking. I suspect we were dropped because they got a more profitable reservation, based on the availability shown on their site before and after the cancellation. The booking was made in the evening, but we weren’t told the accommodation was unavailable until the following day. The host’s reason for cancelling doesn’t really stand up to scrutiny. Booking.com handled the situation very professionally.

The beach is close by and great for swimming, and the flat terrain makes bike rides easy. It’s a lovely way to switch off from all the noise of the world. We had a wonderful week in the only mobile home at this small, family-run campsite, where it’s very peaceful. The owner is wonderful. What more can I say? Come and see for yourself! 👌

It’s a quiet place to relax, close to the beach. There’s also the option to charge an electric car, cycle paths nearby and a friendly dog who sometimes comes over to say hello. The mobile home let us down a bit and could use a refurbishment. The bedding was mediocre, and the water swung between freezing cold and scalding, so be careful with children. The entrance curtain drags on the floor, and its rod scrapes the door whenever you open it.

The room was very clean and we slept well. The owner was really friendly and gave us excellent suggestions for restaurants. We were close to a beautiful beach, just a few steps away. I didn’t take a photo of the room, only one of the beach.

A lovely quiet setting on the edge of the Saumonards forest, with the beach 450m away. It’s a great choice for a weekend or a romantic break. Véronique, the owner, and her faithful friend Charly are devoted to welcoming their guests warmly.
