Mont Blanc views like these are hard to find, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the tasty food and good wine. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but that’s no problem with plenty of other places around. There’s also a pool and sauna.

The food was the highlight of our lovely stop during a week of hiking. We booked half board, and dinner was fantastic, especially for the value, with very fresh ingredients. We enjoyed the tomato, endive, and egg salads, then duck and beef for mains, plus a vegetarian dish for one of our group. For dessert we had brioche, blueberry tart, and chocolate mousse. I’d recommend all of it. There were also great views of Mont Blanc, a pool, and a sauna.

We had a lovely time with the friendly staff, especially the manager, who was incredibly bubbly. They speak great English, and the food was exquisite for a Brit. The pool faces Mont Blanc, one of the best mountains, and the views are simply to die for. It’s right next to the ski lifts. Highly recommended.

The location and views were fantastic, and although our room had been upgraded, it still wasn’t that great. The lock was stiff and awkward, there was no air conditioning, and we had to keep the curtains shut because people could see in. A net or privacy curtain would have helped. The TV was so tiny it was basically pointless. The hotel restaurant was the only one open, but the menu was limited, and the food was very average for the price.
