The grounds have picnic spots, though there’s no kitchen. Since we weren’t a big group booking a barbecue, we ate out and used an electric cooler to keep our cheese and spreads fresh. The breakfast was good, and the manor itself is a peaceful place to unwind. It’s a beautifully renovated farm manor, with charming rooms, a lovely library and lounge, a billiard room, and a stylish pool. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed in France.
We couldn’t get any work done during our artist residency at Domaine de Vivier. We were there with our batucada group, but the owner was aggressive and wouldn’t compromise, so communication became impossible. The rules weren’t clear, and misunderstandings were handled badly. I wouldn’t recommend it for artist residencies or group projects. A very disappointing stay.
The service was appalling, and the owner really needs to be friendlier. It’s a very beautiful place, though.

Our guests were amazed by how beautiful the estate is, and we could use the spaces as we wanted. We had the whole place for a weekend birthday party with 60 people. The owners were extremely kind, professional, and available. The rooms were ready early for our guests, and the venue was well equipped, with electrical connections even in the garden for planning different activities. We highly recommend it!
