Le Jardin de Lau

The hostess was so welcoming, kind and thoughtful, and you can tell how much care has gone into the place. We loved all the little extras, from pool floats and air mattresses to the small library and games. The room was comfortable and beautiful, with a fully equipped kitchen and private outdoor areas at both the front and back. There’s a pool for cooling off and sitting in the sun, too. The garden is stunning and very well kept, with a lovely herb garden that gives the property a peaceful, authentic feel. It was such a relaxing stay, and we’d absolutely come back. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The one thing I forgot to ask our hostess for was some smaller face or hair towels. There were also quite a few mosquitoes because of the nearby canal, though mosquito repellent helped keep them away. Still, it was fantastic to relax by the pool, and there were air mattresses and other things to use. We found a good white wine and olives when we arrived, then our hosts treated us to delicious olive tapenade and porcini mushrooms they’d picked themselves. The accommodation was really well equipped, though a few small paring knives would have been handy. I mentioned that the mattress felt too firm for me, and the hostess came the next day with a topper she’d bought especially for us. She was very friendly and accommodating, and our host made the last evening lovely by playing guitar outside. 😌

Nathalie and Manu gave us such a warm welcome, and we had absolutely no complaints. The gîte is in a beautiful, peaceful spot, perfect for relaxing, with a great pool and everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly come back.

The owners are wonderfully kind and attentive, and the cottages are beautiful, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. It’s a little paradise for a lovely break. Right in the heart of Provence and close to tourist sites, too. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.
