We arrived during a heatwave, so quiet air-conditioning in the rooms was a lovely surprise. There’s secure underground parking for motorcycles, and the buffet breakfast was just right. A fantastic experience all around.

We had a spacious, well-equipped room, good lighting, and an elevator. The bathroom could use a few small improvements, but the breakfast was generous and good quality. The welcome was friendly and family-oriented, and the location is very convenient. A place to remember.

I wasn’t staying at the hotel, but after I fainted while traveling in Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, I needed to get to Nantes as quickly as possible. The receptionist kindly gave me taxi numbers without hesitation, and I got there very quickly. I’m so grateful for her help.

A charming, quiet hotel, right by the pedestrian street. It’s very well placed for exploring St Gilles and its port.

Sylvie and Gilles have an extraordinary sense of service and gave us such a warm welcome. We’ve been coming for 10 years, and I recommend La Sterne 100%. It’s a real treat, right in the city center.
