Logis Hôtel le Cours

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and welcoming, and the restaurant served delicious food. That's all you can really ask of a hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The street works this summer took away some of the restaurant's charm. The big mature trees that used to provide shade were removed, so we had to eat inside, though the air conditioning was handy. The food and service were still as good as ever. I've been eating here at least once a year for more than ten years, and it's just what a Logis restaurant should be. The menu du Jour is a great deal at 13.90 euros, with choice and quality rising as you spend more. The terrace is lovely on a hot day. Enjoy!

The meal was wonderful, though at the end, while we were sitting outside in July at sunset, gnats and mosquitoes swarmed us and spoiled things a bit. The squid wasn't overcooked, the fish was nicely prepared, and the vegetables were flavorful and still had a bite.

Breakfast was the one real plus, a full breakfast. The food was okay but pricey, and the room felt quite small for what it cost. The restaurant waitress didn't speak English, so she had to get someone from reception to take my order.
