The flat was spotless and beautifully furnished, and the owner had a folder of hiking ideas that impressed me even more than the tourist office suggestions. We headed out straight away. Getting settled was easy too: he met us on time at the car park, about 200 metres away, and offered to carry our bags. He was friendly, flexible and clearly put a lot into welcoming us, explaining how everything worked and sharing tips for the village. He saw us off just as warmly at the end of our stay.

The cottage is lovely, nicely decorated and in a very good location, and the owners are friendly. A resident's permit is included, so parking doesn't cost anything, though finding a space is still the challenge. Evenings were easier for parking than afternoons. Mornings stayed quiet until about 9:30 or 10, then the place got very busy.
