Cerise Nantes Atlantis

I was ready to leave. The room looked lovely in the photos, but it was nothing like that in person. Dust was everywhere, with dead spiders and mosquitoes left on the walls. The curtains were sheer, so I couldn’t darken the room at all, and I even found hair in the fridge and on the bed. My apartment faced a light that made it feel like sleeping in the middle of a football stadium. This was the dirtiest, worst hotel I’ve stayed in, despite visiting around 20 hotels a year.

The bed was comfortable, and the couch was too. It folds out into one full-size mattress. The room was clean and spacious. The shower had great pressure and temperature, and shampoo, shower gel with a lovely scent and vegan formula, and hand soap were provided. The dishes are stored in the cupboard below the TV, not in the kitchen. I was very happy with the stay.

The smell in the room was so awful that I slept with both the windows and the door open, and my clothes still stank afterward. Grease covered the bathroom walls. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

The location worked well for us, with shops nearby, and the place was clean with the basics we needed. The beds were okay, though there weren’t many pillows. Reception was hardly ever open, but they did make an extra effort to ensure we could get in when we arrived.
