Don’t come expecting luxury. What you get is local kindness and a superb, sweet, caring host. It’s a great spot for a stop along the way or for enjoying the countryside.

The room was warm and welcoming, with its own bathroom, and the old building had been renovated very nicely. The floorboards creaked, just like in the old days. François met us as soon as we got out of the car and showed us to the room. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, with something for every taste. When we left, Marie Hélène gave us a warm goodbye. I’d forgotten my phone, but it had been put aside so I could pick it up. It’s a very pleasant place where you feel at ease. I highly recommend it for a nice stay in the area.

We’d booked a room for a weekend in the area for a wedding, but were given a superb cottage instead. It was comfortable and very well equipped. Breakfast was generous, and we especially enjoyed the homemade jams. The owners of La Ferme d'Octave are friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Léonie, the owner’s granddaughter, who kindly looked after us whenever we were around.
