The rooms are little jewels, decorated with exquisite care, and the breakfasts each morning came with delicious surprises. Evelyne is a rare find as a host: attentive, funny, and full of useful information. As a spa designer myself, I really trust my eye for this kind of thing. I’d give her a full 100% thumbs up and recommend this amazing, authentic Maison d’Hotes to anyone visiting Uzes.

We had a very peaceful stay, close to lively Uzès, and the comfort was great. La Cour des Lauriers has stylish, contemporary décor, and the hostess was attentive and full of energy. We were there for two lovely days last July. Following Evelyn's recommendation, we visited the bamboo grove in Anduze. It’s magnificent and well worth seeing.

Such a quiet spot near a charming town. Everything was spotless, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the place, from the tasteful décor to all the little details. Everything’s looked after so well. Highly recommended!

The courtyard is a lovely sight, with all its potted plants, inviting furniture, and a small pond full of graceful fish. Inside, the three bedrooms were beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and impeccably clean. La Cour des Lauriers is a charming bed and breakfast and a truly unique place, tucked away from prying eyes behind its magnificent carriage entrance. It feels like a peaceful haven. Évelyn welcomed us warmly and enthusiastically. Her homemade breakfasts were delicious, and her stories were captivating. She shared her affection for the region, her favorite local spots, and helpful advice. She was ready to help when something went wrong, too. Our car broke down on the day we arrived, delaying us, and Évelyn immediately offered to contact the restaurant in Uzès where we had booked dinner. An unforgettable stay! Christine and Annick
