The place has a dated look, but that vintage feel was a refreshing surprise, so don’t let it put you off. We loved this little restaurant: the owner makes everything himself and is happy to talk through his recipes. The pressed lentils with foie gras mousse were excellent, and the tripe had been slow-cooked for 17 hours, a treat for tripe lovers. There was homemade sausage as an option for anyone who doesn’t like tripe. Delicious food and a huge thumbs up! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We stopped with friends on the way to our holiday destination and were glad we did. The owner was friendly, smiling, and talked us through the menu. The food was good and beautifully presented, and they adapted the menu for our dairy-free and gluten-free diet. We’d definitely return if we’re in the area again. The warm welcome meant a lot to us. A real pleasure.

I can’t speak to the rooms, but the chef-owner was kind and served simple, tasty food. The place doesn’t try to look modern.
