The formal gardens and thoughtful staff stood out. This is an old mansion tucked away among olive groves and vineyards, and staying there feels like a genuinely unusual experience. It is a bit rough around the edges, but still a fascinating place.

The owner and his team made the wedding feel really special, with such a warm welcome, kindness, and care. The setting is almost like a fairytale, and the property itself is charming. The rooms are clean and looked after, though a little dated. This place is a hidden gem.

The property has real potential, so it’s a shame nothing seems to be renovated. The outside is neglected, with a quarter of the facade blackened and only half the garden cared for. Inside, the “apartment” is old, the bathroom paint is peeling, and there’s no key for the bathroom door. The sofa bed is broken, with one side collapsed to the floor, which is a real problem for anyone sleeping on it. The place was supposedly cleaned thoroughly, yet expired food from the end of March was still in the fridge more than two months later. The wedding was meant to be indoors but ended up outside. For €120, it just isn’t worth it.
