Gîte des Monts

The setting is peaceful, a lovely place to unwind. Lise made us feel welcome and at home, and she was happy to suggest places to see. We had a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast at the hostess's home was a lovely touch, and she was very friendly. We stayed in the gîte, which had comfortable rooms and enough space for four. It’s tucked away with a beautiful view, and the wood stove kept the place nice and warm. I recommend it.

The jams, salads, and risottos made with produce from the hostess's garden were delicious. We also had a peaceful base for exploring the villages and castles of the Rougier and Ségala, the Tarn river gorges, lakes, dolmen trails, menhir statues, farmers' markets, and local festivals. The guest room is in a beautifully renovated farmhouse in a magnificent region. Its thick stone walls kept things comfortable enough for working quietly even during the heatwave.

We had a really lovely week here. The gîte is well equipped and has room for a family or two couples. It’s a charming, typically Aveyronnais place, quiet and surrounded by nature, just right for resting and recharging. There are lots of places to visit nearby, and we were warmly welcomed with homemade jam. Very good value for money. Thank you!
