Thierry and his family made us feel so welcome, and the local food they served was the highlight of our stay. We spent five days there in October with the family, exploring the Valgaudemar valley. A lovely break.

After skiing and hiking, we loved unwinding in the jacuzzi. Our room was clean, comfortable, and roomy, and the meals were hearty and delicious, made with produce from the farm. Thierry and his mother were so friendly and told us stories about their everyday lives. We had a wonderful stay at Les Clarines, and it felt like an authentic experience in Valgodemard.

The owner was lovely to chat with, and the place was so peaceful. My partner and I had a wonderful three-day stay. Our room was tastefully decorated and very clean, and the meals he prepared were worthy of a fine restaurant. We’ve decided to come back in a few months. I highly recommend it.

The food was excellent, and Josiane and Thierry were so welcoming. We've spent our summer holidays in the Hautes-Alpes for over 15 years, and this farmhouse inn is one of our favorites. It's been fully renovated and is family-run, with beautiful, spacious rooms that stay cool in summer. It's a great base for hiking, with access to all the trails in the Valgaudemar and Champsaur valleys. The Dévoluy region is also just a short drive away if that's not enough.
