The owners were happy to suggest nearby restaurants, and the place is well situated for visiting le Mont Saint-Michel and the coast. Breakfast was homemade and lovely, with a charming garden view. The welcome was warm, and the individually designed, cosy rooms make you feel at home straight away. Perfect.

Right in the center of Saint James, this is a fantastic B and B. It works well for English speakers as well as French speakers. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it.

The hostess was so friendly and made sure we felt at home. Our room was furnished with such care, and the garden is a lovely place to relax. There’s a resident cat who comes to greet you and keep you company outside. Breakfast came with delicious homemade jam made from fruit grown in the garden. We felt very comfortable here!

A peaceful, rejuvenating stay in a charming guesthouse with a beautiful garden. It’s well placed for exploring the region, including Mont Saint Michel, Fougères, and Rennes. The welcome was friendly, and the hosts clearly care about making your visit enjoyable. Breakfast was hearty, with homemade jams, fresh fruit, and good-quality products.
