Holiday Home Château de Boucéel Mont Saint Michel

Breakfast was delicious, with fresh local food, good coffee, and a lovely view over the gardens. We were travelling with our little dog and really appreciated how warmly we were welcomed. The hosts were kind and attentive, and made both of us feel at home. The château has a fairytale feel, surrounded by quiet countryside, with history and charm in every corner. Our room was cosy, beautifully decorated, and full of character. It was such a peaceful and welcoming experience, and we hope to come back.

The château felt wonderfully quiet and private, as if it were all yours, and the owners were happy to help and share the history with real enthusiasm. They also suggested interesting places to visit nearby. Inside, everything was spotless, and the spacious rooms had lots of daylight and lovely views over the huge garden. I was struck by how much care had gone into the interior; there’s so much to look at, all arranged with great taste. I loved the atmosphere throughout my stay and could have spent days exploring the place. It’s a lovely choice if you want to relax away from crowds. I already want to return and feel that way again. The château’s location worked perfectly for exploring Normandy, with Mont Saint-Michel only a short drive away. After sightseeing, coming back to the quiet of Boucéel was such a treat. The hosts and their family made us feel at home, and shared fascinating stories about the château’s past. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a divine bed and a lovely view over the countryside. The grounds were gorgeous, with manicured gardens, peaceful ponds, and views all around. The château is beautifully kept, and the rooms have so much character and timeless charm. This family-run place has a great mix of history, comfort, and personal touches.
