We found a couple of dead mice in the apartment. At checkout, they kept 50 euros from our deposit, saying the apartment hadn’t been cleaned well enough. We had to pay for sheets and towels, and the staff were total jerks. This didn’t feel like a normal hotel, more like a cheap overnight stay where they make money from the damage deposit. The apartments aren’t cleaned between guests, either. We arrived in early February, and at first the place seemed nice and well located, but by the time we left, we felt staying there had been a terrible mistake. If sharing a room with mice and dealing with people who try to scam you sounds bad, don’t stay here.

We’d spent three hours vacuuming and wiping everything down, and the place hadn’t exactly been cleaner when we arrived. The staff were super rude when we tried to sort it out at checkout. It felt like they’d do anything to get extra money from us.

When we checked the house inventory, about a quarter of the items were missing, and the cooking appliances were very poor. Reception was chaotic when we arrived. I’d only recommend it if you’re after a really cheap trip.

There were rats in our rooms, and afterward they came up with every reason they could to keep our deposit.
