Promotel

Old-fashioned place, no air conditioning and no electrical outlet!

It’s well located in town.

The welcome was genuinely warm and friendly, and I’ve no complaints about it. I liked the old-fashioned feel, and the carpeting on the walls and floors didn’t bother me, even knowing what we tend to think of that kind of carpet these days. The doors in the hall and rooms do slam, and that could be improved, but oh well. A really lovely hotel, and I’d recommend it to people who know what to expect.

The emergency number just played a voice saying it wasn’t the right time to call, rather than connecting to an actual emergency line. The rooms were generally dirty, especially the floors. There also weren’t any electrical outlets in the room. I needed a fan overnight, so the first night was really difficult, and the next day we had to buy an extension cord.
