Grand Hôtel Spa & Thalasso à Saint-Jean-de-Luz

The staff made my birthday feel special and always greeted me by name. My room had all the high end touches you’d expect at a five star hotel, plus a very comfortable bed. I only had one night here, though I could easily have stayed a week. The hotel pays close attention to the details, and I loved my time there. I didn’t dine at the hotel or visit the spa, but the spa looked incredible. There’s also a beautiful terrace overlooking the beach and bay, which I wish I’d had time to use.

Back for a second visit, and the beach views from the terrace were lovely. The service was fantastic throughout, and it’s a wonderful spot for a relaxing break. I only wish the spa opened earlier and stayed open later.

The spa was the highlight for me. I had rejuvenating treatments there and felt completely pampered. I was also impressed by the food, with a wide choice of delicious dishes prepared by talented chefs. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with lush landscape views, luxurious amenities, and a comfortable bed that made for restful sleep. From the moment I walked into the elegant lobby, the staff greeted me warmly and looked after me with professionalism and genuine care. Every detail seemed well considered. The stay surpassed my expectations, and it deserves its five star rating. I’d highly recommend it for a luxurious, relaxing getaway.

We ate well at the hotel restaurant, and the staff also had useful suggestions for places to eat in town. The hotel is in a perfect spot, and everyone working there was attentive and friendly.
