Hotel La Chaumiere

The dining room has recently been redone with tasteful decor, and it feels calm and cozy. We loved the generous, varied French breakfast, and the homemade lunch and dinner were high-quality and very good for a competitive price. The new owners were welcoming and attentive. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the hotel itself is charming. There’s a large swimming pool open in season, with lots of green space around it. We’ll definitely be back.

I loved the building, it’s magnificent, and the location is peaceful yet convenient for getting around and exploring nearby. The outdoor area is relaxing and well laid out, and the pool was a lovely place to unwind. I stayed for two nights, and the room was comfortable, clean, and well cared for, with quality bedding that made for a restful sleep. The common areas were tidy, the welcome was warm, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, always ready with a smile. I’d happily return and highly recommend it.

We spent two nights there in December and were warmly welcomed. With so few guests, they kindly upgraded us to a room in a better location, which we really appreciated. The hotel was quiet, the beds comfortable, and everything spotless. Breakfast was complete, with delicious pastries. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

The new owners have been there since June, and they’re exceptionally kind and attentive. My room was very quiet, and the bedding was perfect for me. I slept incredibly well, everything was great. They’re in the middle of renovations, with the rooms being redone gradually and the restaurant due to open in December. Don’t hesitate to stay here.
