We had supper in a fantastic medieval city just 8 km away. When we arrived, a very nice lady gave us wine.

Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and the place was very clean. We were warmly welcomed and they paid close attention to what we needed. The rooms were lovely, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. It’s an excellent base for visiting the medieval village of Perouge.

There’s parking in the courtyard, and checkout is at 11:30 AM. The room and bathroom were clean and roomy. For breakfast, you get coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, plus a croissant, bread, and jam.

The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. We got a really warm welcome from a lady who told us about the history of her village and the neighboring villages.

The owner told us on arrival that the price we’d found online was wrong, the half-price promotion didn’t exist, and she worked with a different website from the one we’d seen. We left and went somewhere else. The welcome was very poor, and the whole thing felt like a scam. I gave it one star only so I could post this review.
