The breakfast was excellent, and we got a smile every morning. Staff were lovely throughout, especially at reception, where they were extra helpful in suggesting hikes. The hotel has cozy rooms, a nice view and a pool, though I didn’t try the spa. WiFi was unpredictable, ranging from barely working to streaming a movie, but cell coverage was good, so it wasn’t a problem.

The staff were excellent. We were looking for a spa and half board nearby, and there’s a free shuttle bus stop about a five-minute drive from the ski lift. It leaves every 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

The bedroom balcony had an amazing view, and the pool was clean and well maintained, with a spa area. We were given a lovely, friendly welcome and the staff were extremely helpful.

We left feeling unwelcome, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, though quite small, and having no duvet in winter made things uncomfortable. Breakfast options were limited, with not even eggs. At dinner there were no menus and no choice, so since I don’t eat much meat, I was often left with rice or vegetables on their own. Once they even served boiled eggs for dinner. The staff weren’t friendly: when we asked for fresh towels after two days, they said they’d never seen anyone ask for so many and told us to use the towels for the spa. There were signs saying they wouldn’t clean on New Year’s unless requested, but when we politely asked at reception, we were told, “Can you read the signs?”

We came back for a winter break and had another great stay at this family-run hotel. The hospitality, food and accommodation were all wonderful, and everything was very clean and tidy.
