Camping l'Orée des Cevennes

Such a relaxing little campsite, right by the river and surrounded by walks and family activities. Our 19m² mobile home was small but just right for two nights with our two children. It was clean, well equipped, and the first mobile home I've ever moved into without having to clean it myself! The campsite is simple and laid-back, and the managers are so attentive. Our kids were made very welcome too. We were really happy to get a break from everyday life here. I'd recommend this little spot in nature, just please leave us some room by not booking it all up 😂 Thanks again!! 😊

The river and village are both close enough for a nice walk, and the owners had great tips for finding beautiful places to visit. They're charming, attentive, and always available. We had a lovely stay, with the peace and quiet and comforts we needed. Our accommodation was clean and spotless. We would definitely come back.

The outside is inviting and the setting is pleasant, but the managers' behavior completely spoiled it for us. The atmosphere felt rigid, and the focus on cleanliness went way too far. On arrival and departure they talked down to us, explaining things as if we were children, like “dish soap for the dishes.” Seriously? I didn't think I sounded that stupid. The worst was when they took us to another mobile home on the morning we left to show us “what it should look like.” It felt condescending and inappropriate. A drop of water on the sink was enough to question our cleanliness, and they checked every piece of cutlery and judged how shiny the pots and pans were. This was excessive, and made our stay frankly unpleasant. Such a shame. P.S. The accommodation could use a bit of refurbishment.

We rented the whole venue for my 30th birthday, and the owners made us feel so welcome. The place was absolutely lovely. A big thank you for your hospitality!
