Hotel La Maison de Lise Mulhouse Illzach

The front desk and cleaning staff were honest, helpful, and service minded. They went out of their way to return the documents I'd left in my room.

Breakfast was good, and you can cook your own eggs. A nice hotel for a night, with small but clean rooms and bathrooms. The shower was very good, too.

Reception was friendly, and the location and price were both good. Breakfast was fine, with pastries, toast, boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, and juice. The room was clean, quiet, and a decent size for one night, but the bed was old and worn with a dip in the middle. After a shower, the bathroom was completely wet. The “fitness room” is basically just a treadmill and a stationary bike. I'd recommend it for a one night stay.

Our dog was welcome almost everywhere, and there was a small grassy area behind the hotel. That's the good part. We were asked to pay more than the amount we'd booked for, with no explanation or receipt. Breakfast was too expensive. We thought the price covered a buffet, but there were only a few breads, no fresh juice, and no proper coffee, just canned coffee.
