The one good thing was the friendly girl at reception, and the bed and sheets were clean. The rest of the place was so dirty and disgusting that I have never stayed anywhere like it. They need to clean it properly or renovate. It felt like a health hazard, and they use strong perfume to cover up the smell. I only stayed because of the clean bed. The photos I added say enough; I won't go into more detail.

The room was awful, though the staff were friendly. Dirt covered the bathroom floor, and dust was packed into every corner. It all looked disgusting. I know it's a cheap place and wasn't expecting anything fancy, but they could at least try to keep it looking clean.

I was pleasantly surprised by how roomy the room was, and the mattress was comfortable. The bed was neatly made, with some sweets left on the duvet. I only spent one night here, but it was perfect. Breakfast cost about €6 extra and was okay.

Good value breakfast is available, and there are several restaurants within walking distance, some with discounts for hotel guests. The hotel is surprisingly quiet despite being just off the A9 near Montpellier. Rooms are basic, with standard pod-style shower stalls, but they are clean. The staff were very helpful. If you're arriving after 9 p.m., call ahead: reception closes then, and you'll need the car park and front door codes, plus arrangements for your room key. It's a small hotel and good value.
