The location was spectacular, close to the quaint town of Donibane Garazi and within 30mins of hiking trails in the Pyrenees. The hotel is charming, the room was comfortable, and the restaurant food was delicious. The staff were really nice, and it’s pet-friendly too. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Just outside Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, this clean, tidy hotel somehow still felt cosy. The owners and staff were friendly, and we all had a lovely night there. Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port itself is a stunning little town. I think it’s the starting point for the Pilgrims Walk across the Pyrenees, so the area is busy and lively.

We stayed overnight and had dinner at the hotel. The food was adequate, and the service was pleasant overall. It was nice that we could eat our hiking picnic on the terrace. The hotel is very hospitable and sits in St Jean le Vieux, about 4 km from St Jean Pied de Port.

I’ve been coming to this hotel for the last 7yrs to meet up with fellow cyclists. The staff are very friendly, and it’s in a nice location.
