We had a great stay at the Auberge. It is very close to the town entrance and the pilgrim office, which made the location ideal. My daughter stayed in the woman's dorm, while my husband and I had a private room with a shower. Our room had a bunk bed, so keep that in mind. I don't know whether the other private rooms had showers, but they had regular beds. We shared a bathroom with those rooms, though we were the only ones who'd booked a private room, so the whole area was ours. The room felt a bit warm during an unusual heatwave, with temperatures around 90 degrees, but the rooms were clean and welcoming. We used the washer for our clothes, and in that heat they dried on the line the same day. Janis and all the staff were so helpful, answered our questions, gave us directions, and were friendly and accommodating. We'd highly recommend the auberge to anyone starting the camino.
