I booked the wrong hotel by mistake, thinking it was in another town, and had already paid in full. I caught the error six weeks before arriving, but they still wouldn't refund me. That's just wrong.

A wonderful place to begin the Camino de Santiago. The host, room, breakfast and location were all lovely.

Such a charming place, with a gorgeous backyard garden and rooms that were immaculate and nicely furnished. The decorations had thoughtful little details and a playful touch. Our host was incredibly kind, replied quickly to texts and emails, and was very helpful. A perfect beginning to our El Camino trek!

The view from the top of the backyard courtyard stairs is unbelievable. I felt like I was looking at a painting of the French countryside. The place is right on the cutest walking street in town, seconds from the Camino Pilgrims Office. The building feels historic, but it's super clean, and the shower seems newly renovated. It's a contactless stay, with lockbox codes for check-in and check-out. If you need to speak with the host, she also runs the attached ice cream shop. Breakfast was great and already laid out in the upstairs common area in the morning. My only discomforts were having to ask for water, though the tap water here is drinkable and delicious, and a cold room where the heat didn't seem to work well. Maybe I just couldn't figure out the controls. I'd definitely stay here again, especially for that courtyard view.
