A car is handy here, since the roads can be a bit tight, but the surroundings are so peaceful. We had a lovely stay in beautiful, well-furnished rooms, with a cared-for garden and a magical waterfall 🧚. Breakfast was really good, with lots of homemade produce, and the friendly hosts gave us great ideas for things to do. Their dog is the sweetest, too. Well worth the price, and we hope to come back!
We spent five nights at Moulin Camoula and found it to be great value. The setting in the Cagnes river valley is beautiful, and it's a short drive to lovely towns, with Nice airport about 20 minutes away. We loved leaving the window open at night to hear the waterfall, and the gardens are lovely. Cecilia and Michel made us feel very welcome. Our room and bathroom were spacious, nicely decorated, and finished with quality materials. The breakfast buffet had delicious bread, homemade jams and yogurt, cheeses, smoked meats, and a range of drinks. Strongly recommended!
Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh local produce and homemade items, and we had the most peaceful night's sleep. The waterfall beside Le Moulin Camoula is so calming, and the rooms are beautiful, renovated to a high standard. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. It's a lovely place in the Maritime Alps if you're looking to get away from the Riviera's bustle. Vence and St Paul de Vence are nearby, while Nice is about a 30 minute drive and Monaco about an hour. You'll need a car because public transport is limited. Google Maps wasn't very helpful around here, so follow the road signs and main roads instead. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
An old mill turned into such a cozy place, with a lake and waterfall of its own. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and were cleaned every day. Breakfast was great, and the very friendly hosts had useful suggestions for local restaurants. Peaceful, romantic, and snug. We'd love to return!
The owners were some of the best B&B hosts we've had: kind, generous, quick to answer questions, and full of thoughtful conversation and travel advice. You can tell they care about their work and where they live. Breakfast was lovely in a room that took our breath away, and there were plenty of beautiful spots to sit around the well-kept gardens. The location is gorgeous, the room was incredibly comfortable, and everything felt top quality. We spent time just admiring all the care and hard work put into the property. Falling asleep to the waterfall was one of the highlights. I only wish we could have stayed longer, and we'll absolutely come back one day.
