Les Ô D'annecy

The location was great, close to Annecy but away from the city's bustle, and the panoramic views from our room were breathtaking. Bernard and Ta were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make us feel welcome in their beautifully redesigned home in nature. The spa was serene, and breakfast was good quality and served with care, a lovely way to start each day. My teens loved the place too. I highly recommend it for a unique and memorable getaway. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

The views were incredible, and the breakfasts were delicious. We loved the location, out of the old town but close enough by car or bus, and my husband and I had a fantastic couples massage for my birthday through their masseuse connection. We had a great experience at Les o d’ annecy overall. I'm giving it 3 stars because of a host mistake that I think could have been handled differently. I booked months ahead, then closer to the date asked to change from 4 nights to 3, leaving a day early. Bernard confirmed the change. After a long day of travel, we arrived and he told us he'd made a mistake and overbooked our room for that night. Incredibly annoying, though people do make mistakes. He said not to worry, that he'd found us a comparable hotel, but it wasn't comparable at all. It was an hour away by car, not even in the annecy area, and much cheaper than the rooms at his property. He said no other hotels were available because it was a holiday weekend. I called a place five minutes down the road from my car and found a room at the same price as his property, though it wasn't as nice. We stayed there and I paid for it myself. Les o d’Annecy didn't offer a discount or comp for the mistake, which I think would have made things right. It was an unfortunate start to the trip. I'd suggest triple checking your dates and arrival times with the hosts, and then all should be okay :-)

Bernard and Ta made sure we got the most out of our visit, and we really enjoyed chatting with them. We stayed in the Morden building for those breathtaking mountain views from bed, and you can see the care they've put into every corner. Getting here from Geneva was easy, and it was a comfortable drive to the nearby towns we wanted to see, with Chamonix less than 1.5 hours away. First came Pad Thai, the energetic, playful Australian shepherd, then Bernard and Ta gave us a warm welcome and showed us around, sharing tips about the nearby villages and, best of all, the food. What an amazing weekend. We'd definitely come back. George & Su

We loved having breakfast outside, looking out at Lake Annecy and the mountains. It was homemade and delicious, better than restaurant breakfasts. Everything felt authentically French, from the linen and tea to the food. The main house has that French style, with a beautiful rose garden around it, and there's a backyard with swings and a tree-house-style hammock. You can also use the jacuzzi or swim laps in the pool, which has a pump for serious swimmers. The rooms are well insulated, and the rain shower was luxurious and comfortable. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the city center, so it feels quiet, safe, and a little special. My husband and I stayed three nights at this gorgeous place, and it was the most relaxing, perfect stay we've had in Europe. Ta and Bernard were so friendly and welcoming, and their website was really helpful. Thank you for such a wonderful time. I'd recommend it as my number one place to stay in Annecy. Note: The owners didn't ask me to write this, and I got no incentive. I believe the good reviews here are genuine.
