We liked it so much we extended our stay. The pool has sun loungers, which made sunbathing there on a sunny day a real pleasure, and there’s private parking. It felt like being in a novel.
4/10
My partner’s back was hurting, so she asked the receptionist for an extra pillow and was refused. That same receptionist wasn’t very welcoming, and even asking for something like a drink at the bar felt like a bother.
8/10
The roses around the hotel smelled wonderful, and we enjoyed the pool. We spent two nights in the chateaubriand room on the first floor, overlooking it. This is a lovely old French farmhouse converted into a small hotel in peaceful countryside. The room was comfortable enough for us, though I think it would get too hot above 25c, since there’s no fan or AC.
8/10
The rooms felt quite contemporary and were well appointed, and the staff were friendly. It’s a very handy spot if you’re taking the morning ferry from St.Malo.
8/10
I’d definitely recommend it.
