The on-site restaurant was a lovely bonus. We had dinner there, and the whole evening felt peaceful, like a little chance to recharge before heading home. We’d added this overnight stop at the last minute after a long day of travel, before continuing from the Eurotunnel, and we were glad we did. It’s a charming little hotel with just a few rooms, in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for a peaceful stopover.

The room was simple, but very clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was lovely, with a nice restaurant. My wife started feeling unwell during dinner because of something she’d eaten at our previous overnight stop the day before, so she didn’t quite make it to dessert. We’d certainly stay here again.

We chose this place for the final night of our holiday in France, since it’s around 15 minutes from the Eurostar terminal. The rooms felt secure and were comfortable overall, though a little basic. We’d booked after seeing good reviews for both the property and its on-site restaurant. The meal was very good, as was the wine selection, even if it was limited.

We stayed here with our caravan last year and found it a great campsite. This year we came back for one of the rooms. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom lovely. Dinner was very nice, with portions that might, dare I say, be too big. It’s a great, secure place to stay in Calais, and we’ll be back every year for the location.

The room was small and cramped, with poor furnishings and missing curtain hooks. Logis calls it “cosy,” but “essential” would be more accurate at best. Reception is generally unmanned, so you have to phone to get service. A nearby Logis hotel and restaurant has lower ratings for both, yet is infinitely better on both counts.
