The hosts were nice, and breakfast was excellent. The facilities felt modern and comfortable, all in a lovely countryside setting.

Breakfast was generous, with a bit of everything to keep us going until tea time. The hostess was lovely; she spoke only a little English, but we managed with the French we knew. Our room had an ensuite shower and a separate toilet, and the shared kitchen and lounge were tastefully done in a modern style. It’s a charming place, a little off the beaten track but only about 20 minutes from Calais, so it worked well as a stop before catching the train. One of those rare hidden gems. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip.
