The spacious, spotless suite worked beautifully for our family of six, and the boys, ages 8-14, were just as happy with Anne-Marie's cooking as we adults were. We were lucky enough to share the table d'hote on our first evening, with lovely food, wine, and company. Breakfast was a treat too, especially the homemade jams. We only planned two nights on our way south, but there’s so much nearby to explore, from chateaux and vineyards to rivers and restaurants, that we’ll have to come back. The natural pool was chilly, but a lovely spot to relax with a book. Yvon and Anne-Marie made us feel at home and shared lots of helpful local suggestions. Jardin de Canaan was a peaceful little oasis, and such a lovely start to our holiday.

The homemade breakfast and Anne-Marie’s aperitif were both delicious. Anne Marie and Yvon were so warm and attentive, and their suggestions throughout our stay were very helpful.

We loved chatting with Anne-Marie and Yvon. They made us feel so welcome, and the table d'hôte was excellent, with very good ingredients. The room was beautifully decorated and the setting was magnificent. A wonderful stay, and highly recommended if you’re nearby.

The garden and natural pool make this place feel like a little treasure. Inside, everything was clean and cozy, and we had a very pleasant stay. We skipped the table d'hôte but enjoyed the buffet breakfast: bakery croissants, homemade bread, jam and spread, plus a carrot cake made by the owner. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
