Pierre & Vacances Residence Heliotel Marine

I enjoyed taking morning walks by the water, and we all had a great time. The pool is really large, the tennis courts were kept very clean, and there was plenty of parking. It’s close to everything, with great restaurants and bars just a short walk away. Each room has a kitchen, which is handy for cooking for a family. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. We had a very nice stay at Pierre residences.

For an affordable stay, this was a good choice: the rooms were clean, the pool was great, and the beach is very close. The people were kind and helpful, and the place felt very safe. There are good beaches nearby, though you’ll need swim shoes, and I’d bring bug spray. Plenty of good food is close by too. The air conditioning could be stronger.

The flats have air conditioning, and the sea is just across the road. Families can use the swimming pool and tennis courts at no extra cost. We stayed at the Helio Hotel Pierre Vacances for two weeks. Our first-day request to replace a broken light bulb, plug, and toaster was handled straight away, but nobody came back to put the fallen heating unit back together after we found it on the floor when we arrived. The service also felt very lacking in customer care. The guidelines said we could stay until late afternoon for an extra 50 Euros, and the room wasn’t needed for the next party before 15:00 the following day, but the elderly blond woman at the service desk refused. She kept cleaning her desk as we spoke. I found that behavior insulting.

We were able to check in several hours early because the apartment was ready ahead of time. Room 125 was clean and as expected, with a really large corner balcony. The staff were helpful throughout: they quickly brought a cutting board when we asked, and dealt with the air conditioner problem the same day by giving us a portable AC to use in the meantime. Thanks especially to Silvia and the young woman at reception who advised me about the windshield stickers needed for the car and kindly printed a small document when I asked about a nearby copy center. You were wonderful, and made us want to return!
